At the beginning of every year, many people make promises about food. They commit to cutting sugar, avoiding certain foods, losing weight quickly, or following the latest trending diet. For a short while, motivation is high and discipline feels effortless. Grocery baskets change, meal plans are followed, and social media is filled with before-and-after stories.
Then reality intervenes. Work pressure increases, financial demands tighten, social gatherings return, and fatigue sets in. Slowly, old habits resurface. By March, healthy eating feels like another broken resolution.
The issue is not a lack of willpower, but a flawed approach. Healthy eating was never designed to be temporary.
