One of the most famous Legends that came from Mexico is the story of La Llorona. People created this story to scare their children as a form of discipline. The story of La Llorona or the Weeping lady is that she drowned her kids in a lake, and she was heard weeping about her kids saying, "ay mis hijos." As you can see, this is very creepy and did scare the kids into behaving well because no one wants to get taken by a weeping lady. There are a bunch of legends and myths all throughout Mexico's cities and states.
