Třebíč
Třebíč was a centre of Jewish culture in Moravia. Jewish quarter is
the only Jewish monument outside Israel, which is a UNESCO World
Heritage site. It was inscribed in the UNESCO list in 2003 together with
St. Prokop's Basilica. Třebíč is a unique example of the close co-
existence of Christian and Jewish culture from the Middle Ages until the
20th century. The Jewish quarter also includes a large cemetery. There
are 11,000 graves and 3.000 stone tombs.
