Shaping the Vision
The Cullowhee River Club was envisioned by a veteran team of developers, planners, architects, marketing and
environmental consultants and funded by a Dallas-based equity capital group. The property development is being
managed by Newell Land Group, LLC headed by Tim Newell, a 33-year veteran in the land development industry
with domestic and international experience as a developer, land planner, and landscape architect. The developer team
and capital partner both have an unwavering commitment to responsible development that supports conservation of
natural resources. This combination of experience, capital, and commitment will enable Cullowhee River Club to
become one of the most unique and exciting mountain residential and recreational communities in western North
Carolina.
