This year ’ s event raised $ 18,919 . During the Designer Bag Bingo , attendees had the opportunity to win one of 14 designer handbags and one grand prize .
“ We are incredibly thankful for the support from everyone who volunteered or attended the Designer Bag Bingo event ,” said Goff . “ Through the outpouring of support , we were able to double the amount of money raised from this same event in 2019 . All of these resources go back into our community to support local nonprofits in Cullman County .”
Jennifer Parker , United Way of Cullman County ’ s Board president , agreed with Goff that the event was beyond successful . “ We are so blessed to have such an amazing community come together to attend and volunteer at the Designer Bag Bingo ,” said Parker . “ To be in a room full of amazing women that share the same goals in wanting tomake our community a better place is absolutely wonderful and truly inspiring ! I can ’ t wait until we can host this event again !”
