pacted during the COVID-19 pandemic. A great deal of tourist destinations are closed for business through May, but according to Hornsby, planning for travel later in the year may still be possible. Hornsby states, “Having a trip to look forward to has always been a helpful way for me to get through a tough time. We always try to have at least one trip we’re planning for, giving us a goal and something to get excited about. Sometimes half the fun is in the planning!” She explained, prior to the pandemic her family and her parents traveled to Disney bi-annually. They had planned to take their first Disney Cruise Line vacation this spring, but plans had to be adjusted. She also said, “One of the great things about Disney Parks and Resorts is how they are working with everyone now to make sure guests are safe, and are able to rebook at a time that works for their family. Disney will not re-open un- til they have done all they can to ensure the safety of their cast members (employees) and guests.” Disney Parks and Resorts not only have theme parks throughout the world, but they also offer Adventures By Disney vacations. Scooters are available for rental, so that can be arranged if needed.” Hornsby said, “Being able to create memories through a multigenerational trip is something myself, nor my kids will ever forget. The kids always look forward to trips to Disney with Neena and Pops. In addition, Neena and Pops love to see Disney through the eyes of our children.” Walt Disney World has something for everyone! Throughout the year they offer various festi- vals, concerts (groups like Three Dog Night, The Spinners, Billy Ocean, and others from the 60s, 70s, 80s, etc), shows, and unique experiences.
