Hutson initiated the Caring for Cullman Concert benefit fundraiser in 2015, which became the clinic’ s signature fundraising event for seven years. With the clinic’ s upcoming move to larger acreage, she wanted to put together an on-site and outdoors event, so she created the Caring for Cullman Health and Wellness Day, which debuted in September 2025. The event featured live stage sessions, interactive demonstrations, health and wellness resources, free health screenings, food trucks and giveaways.
“ The event was designed to bring health and wellness resources together in one accessible, family-friendly space,” she said.“ It brought people together, connected families with essential health and wellness resources and strengthened partnerships among local providers. Most importantly, it inspired healthier living across our community.
“ It allowed us to partner with other agencies who provide free services and other medical service providers who offered their services on-site. The people that attended received a wealth of information, really seemed to enjoy it, and most took home a door prize.”

Hutson acknowledges the importance of fulfilling the Biblical Good Samaritan’ s example of helping one’ s neighbor in a time of need. Every morning at 7:50 a. m., staff and volunteers meet at the nurses’ desk to pray.
“ We share a short devotion, and then we lift up the patients that are on the schedule for that day,” she said.“ It’ s not uncommon for our patients to ask us to pray for them. I feel God is honored and He blesses us beyond what we can even imagine. God knows when we have a need, and He is always there to fulfil it. I know that I was called to be here, and I believe that everyone on our staff feels the same.”
