INTRO TO SCHWEITZER ENGINEERING LABS 351 & 751 RELAYS ( SEL )
Participants receive hands-on training for operation of SEL 351 & 751 feeder protection relays via front panel controls or laptop computer . Demonstration and discussion of relay response to various fault simulations is an integral part of this training .
In this training you will learn :
• Function of relay front panel pushbuttons and LED indicators
• Enable relay functions such as “ One Shot ” and “ Non-Reclose ” and “ Hot Line Tag ”
• Differences in relay response between “ One Shot ” and “ Hot Line Tag ” and “ Non-Reclose ”
• View real-time and historical metering information
• Retrieve fault type , location and history information
• Establish communication with SEL relays via a laptop computer
