SINGULAR SEMINARS
BUSINESS ETIQUETTE
The word “etiquette”, for many people, commonly
equates to remembering not to put elbows on the
dinner table or to always say “please and thank
you”. But in the business world, etiquette is a far
more encompassing term that makes the difference
between a comfortable work environment, and
an aggravating one. Whether it is being polite to
a rude coworker, keeping a clean workspace, or
using proper grammar in an email, small, attentive
gestures make the workplace more enjoyable. Being
able to assess your level of self-respect and dignity,
to display patience, to say no diplomatically, and to
make a positive impression allows you develop more
meaningful relationships with colleagues, and to build
a pleasant work environment that boosts productivity.
In this seminar, we will:
• Practice common business etiquette
to build and maintain relationships
• Be resilient in difficult situations
• Interact in a respectful manner with
coworkers and subordinates
• Interact respectfully with individuals with disabilities.
• Maintain relationships with strong communication skills

PRODUCTIVE WORK HABITS
The modern work world is full of distractions. Private
e-mails, social media, the Internet, and chatty co-workers
cut into productivity and prompt procrastination.
Becoming a mountain of work due tomorrow, making
a lack of productivity one of the biggest causes of
profit loss for organizations. This course is designed
to teach employees how to kick bad habits and stay
more focused. As a result, employees will work at a
higher level, be able to more effectively prioritize
tasks and create long-lasting behavioral changes.
In this seminar, we will:
• Recognize the difference between true
productivity and “fake” productivity
• Prioritize your daily work based on your key results
• Cultivate the nine habits that will
increase your productivity

UNDERSTANDING
GENERATIONAL DIFFERENCES
Up to five generations are working side by side in
today’s workforce. Individuals in each generation
have fundamentally different life experiences and
influences than those in generations before or after
them. These life experiences lead to differences in how
we express values, in our sources of motivation, and
in our preferences for communication. Understanding
these differences can minimize misunderstandings
and improve collaboration. In fact, actively seeking
a variety of perspectives can improve decisionmaking
and increase innovation in your workplace.
In this seminar, we will:
• Identify the generations in the workplace
and the experiences that shape them
• Examine generational stereotypes
• Demonstrate techniques that foster respectful
communication with different generations
• Implement strategies to unite employees of all ages

WOMEN AND LEADERSHIP:
Working Through Barriers and Biases
About 76% of U.S. women ages 25–54 are in the
workforce. The good news: In the same study it was
found that women ranked higher than men in 12 out
of 16 essential leadership competencies, proving
that women have what it takes to lead! Women face
a variety of challenges that hinder their desire to
reach leadership positions. We’ll take a look at those
challenges, but more importantly, we’ll look at how
women can maximize their strengths and build their
skills to become effective leaders in any organization.
In this seminar, we will:
• Understand the challenges that women
face as they pursue leadership positions
• Assess limitations that women place on themselves
• Build skills that enhance your development as a leader
• Develop relationships to maximize your
leadership potential
• Overcome work-life challenges
• Recognize special issues women leaders
face when they interact with others
• Implement a plan to target the leadership
skills you most want to improve
