ACTIVE THREAT MITIGATION - ORGANIZATIONAL PREPAREDNESS Since 2000 we have been witness to over 200 active threat events in the United States, some of those occurring in locations like schools, churches, small businesses, and parks. These events are happening even in our communities, where “it doesn’t happen here,” like Oak Creek, Crandon, Brookfield, Wausau, and Menasha. Ideally, we want to prevent these events from occurring. What steps do you/your organization have in place to detect and deter an incident from happening? What is the protocol in the event something happens? Have you thought about the aftermath and recovery? This workshop will focus on just that –preparedness, response, and recovery!
