House of Worship Conference (2 Day Conference)
Defensive Driving: Fleet Edition
According to a new report based on U.S. Bureau of Labor statistics,
about 40% of motor vehicle accidents are work-related, which poses
a significant risk to employees who drive for their jobs. Furthermore,
these accidents cost employers over $56 billion in 2017, with 53% of
vehicle accidents causing employees to miss work.
This course has been developed as a response to those figures
and a way to reduce those numbers. This is a fast-paced exciting
class taught by the same instructors that teach our public safety
professionals on vehicle operation! No need to worry about using
your car as we will provide the vehicles for your employee and
the class will be held at the NWTC Universal Driving Facility which
has a closed driving course consisting of roads, roundabouts,
intersections, curves, and much more.
Religious organizations and the people in them are increasingly
exposed to violence, crimes, disasters, and other incidents. One
of the most effective ways to respond to these threats is to get
organized, make a plan, and consider ways to better secure your
organization and its most valuable asset - your people. This
conference will provide you with access to ideas, resources and
experts that will help you get started, get better, or collaborate
with your peers who have the same concerns. Come to learn.
Come to contribute. Come help us start a community for the
promotion of secure houses of worship.
