1st Place Winner – Dave Dilli
Dave’s photographic journey began when he saw the magic of a
photograph emerge from a darkroom print while he was a
photographer in high school. Since then he has experimented
with his photographic style, which has evolved to a unique
perspective on the beauty of the American Southwest. Dave
strives to capture the essence of what he felt when the image
was taken – from the softness of a sunset to the drama of a
desert monsoon storm.
Based out of Phoenix Arizona, Dave captures sunsets and
sunrises from across the state of Arizona, Utah, eastern California
and New Mexico. Dave has a number of photographic
recognitions and awards, most recently including showings at
Raw Natural Artists exhibit in Phoenix Arizona, exhibits at the
GBK (Golden Globes Gift Lounge) and at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix Arizona, and a showing on the set of CBS series Criminal
Minds.
