I’ m not going to lie to you – back in the day when I was a kid, in the not too dista Christmas was all about the presents! Oh yes. Being woken early( okay so it wasn’ t exactly but when you’ re twelve, 9am starts during the holidays are unappreciated at best) to church in the morning, demolishing ridiculous amounts of food during the turkey-lade( even though I wasn’ t ever really hungry by this time due to shovelling in so much ch before the clock even hit midday), and being forced to spend time with out-of-town that I didn’ t even like that much – were all just a means to a shredded-wrapping-pap ribbon EXPLOSIVE end. Anything that came before or after was a letdown. Don’ t judge me you were probably the same- but if by some Christmas miracle you simply just spending time with the family, and the receiving of gifts was merely the sparkly star on to evergreen tree, I take my paper crown off to you, you little diamond! As for the rest of u worry, we were simply kids being kids. So, how about this year, we all do things a little di and give something to somebody who has never had a Christmas?
The spectacularly glamorous British retailer Selfridges can always be counted on to jump the commercial box, and present the whole family with an excitingly innovative sh experience – and this year is certainly no exception. In celebration of their‘ Not yo Christmas’ initiative for 2012, they have enlisted the help of legendary fashion photograp filmmaker Bruce Weber to not only create a very special campaign advert, but also to de exclusive unisex t-shirt in partnership with Kids Company.
