Welcome to CSU Monterey Bay!
We’re glad you’ve come to check us out! This guide will help you explore our campus. Since the university was established in 1994,
we’ve successfully transformed a military base into a thriving comprehensive university. You’ll see glimpses of this proud past – airplane
hangars turned into art studios and barracks that have become classrooms – as well as new buildings equipped for sustainability, like
our LEED*-certified library, that illustrate the exciting direction CSU Monterey Bay is headed.
You’ll also get a sense of the group of people who call CSUMB home – talented students and the faculty and staff committed to their
success. We hope one day you’ll be among them, but for now, have fun, take it all in, and get to know CSU Monterey Bay.
