CSM: How do you keep yourself educated or updat- ed for latest trends and information in healthy living or lifestyle? BRITT: I’m always reading articles or books. CSM: How important is food and nutrition to you as a model, athlete or as an individual? BRITT: Nutrition is a huge part of my life. If I’m not taking care of my nutrition, everything else falls out of place. CSM: Describe the essential skills to be effective in maintaining your figure or shape. BRITT: Meal prepping and making sure my meal plan is on point! As far as the gym goes, that’s my antidepressant. CSM: What are your ideas about non-organic food versus organic? BRITT: I’ve debated on this for so long. I’ve come to conclusion that I like more high-quality protein. When it comes to produce, I rather non-organic. I feel like organic has a wax coat sometimes that isn’t natural. CSM: What are your views on an all-meat diet versus a vegan diet? BRITT: I can never be a vegan, because I was raised by having meat with every meal. It’s all a personal preference. If I ever became sick and I had to go veg- an, that’s the only time I’d consider it. CSM: What groups of food do you usually eat? BRITT: I’m not a picky eater, AT ALL! I love food. The majority of the time, I eat a lot of meats, veggies, potatoes and rice. CSM: Do you think customized meal plans are really necessary? Why is that? BRITT: It depends on the individual. I like custom- ized meal plans vs macros. I’ve tried the macros ap- proach before and I didn’t feel as if I was getting enough nutrition in my diet. I think whatever works for you, do it but be consistent with it. CSM: Any fitness goals for yourself? What are you aiming now? BRITT: Yes. I’d like to win my pro card as natural competitive athlete. I’d also like to be on the cover of a fitness magazine. CSM: There are a lot of online coaches and lifestyle advisers out in the market already, what are the fac- tors that people should take into consideration when hiring a personal trainer or online coaches or maybe investing some time and money to them? BRITT: RESEARCH. RESEARCH. RESEARCH. Anyone can call themselves a “coach” today. Check out their resume and reviews. If they’re giving you an all tilapia and asparagus diet, RUN! CSM: As a fitness and health enthusiast, what are the essential exercises you have to do? Why is that? BRITT: As much as I hate cardio, it must be a huge part of my exercise regimen. I build muscle easy, but retain fluid easy too! To cut fat, cardio is a must for me. CSM: Do you have any gym etiquette advice for oth- er people? BRITT: Re-rack your weights in the appropriate or- der and wipe off your sweaty equipment! CSM: Fact or myth? Does working out daily improve one’s sexual stamina or prowess during sexual activ- ity? Why do you say so? BRITT: Fact. Working out increases dopamine, which helps to increase a good mood. Consistent trips to the gym equal positive results with the mind and body. When someone is feeling good about themselves, it makes them feel sexier. CSM: Fact or myth? Does living a healthy lifestyle keeps you happy and young? Why is that? BRITT: Fact. A healthy lifestyle enhances nothing but positive effects. Stress kills, so a healthy lifestyle helps to balance that out. CSM: If you are our health ambassador and a life- style advocate, how would you help promote healthy living in school or in corporate world? BRITT: Don’t compare yourself to others. Social media isn’t all real either. If I could go back to when I was 15 years old, which is when I discovered the gym I would. I’d begin by working on myself from the inside-out and not the outside-in. Falling in love with myself has been one of the biggest challenges of my life at this age. It’s important to love the inside of yourself first and work on the outside from there. CSM: A lot of your followers are curious to know these, if there’s any food and beverage that you can- not resist what would that be and why? BRITT: Sushi. There are so many ways to make this and the best ones are bursting with flavors. I can’t miss out on that! Yolo! Haha! CSM: Any advice to individuals who wants to gain weight and lean muscle? Advise to people who want to lose weight and be sexy? BRITT: Don’t rush! Your brain is a muscle too. It must be exercised just like your body. Love yourself and make sure you’re doing it for the right reasons. Do all of this consistently and everything else will fall into place. Lastly, do your research and get a coach.
