CSM Game-Changer Issue with Cristiano Ronaldo 2019 GAME-CHANGER ISSUE - Heather Blackburn | Page 338
CSM: This is your feature debut to be on Center Stage
Magazine, what is the experience like when you are in-
cluded in our roster for 2019’s game-changer issue?
SOPHIE: Exciting and rewarding to know that the hard
work I put in day to day is being recognized by such an
elite magazine!
CSM: What do you think makes Center Stage Maga-
zine stand-out or makes it unique in other publications
around the globe?
SOPHIE: The way in which they honor athletes, men
and women, competitors, health influencers, amazing
photographers (shout out to CWMG) , the whole nine!
Always respectfully and tastefully edited to perfec-
tion. The hard dedication and work definitely shows in
CSM’s magazines.
CSM: What are the duties and responsibilities that en-
tail to your current profession or career?
SOPHIE: I am with different types of people all day; in-
teracting, consulting, sharing, advising and being their
own personal “therapist.” I feel privileged and blessed
to know that people value and trust my opinions and
listen to what I educate them on, whether it be health
related from my own experiences, or personal issues.
CSM: This year’s bimonthly edition is about going for
game-changing results in careers and individuality and
inspiring people (being a beacon of inspiration); de-
scribe how did you exude your game-changing excel-
lence and confidence in your career and what did you
do to push that boundaries
SOPHIE: Being real! People love honesty and can re-
late to it. They want to hear the good and the bad. They
want to hear how you flourish from the bad in the good
and become a badass at succeeding and crushing your
game changing goals. I let people see my shine and pas-
sion for what I do, so that they feel excited and ready to
be a game changer as well!
CSM: Describe the person who made an impact in your
life and how that is significant.
SOPHIE: My better half, Zak. Being his number one
fan, he truly is inspiring in the way he strives to get
what he wants to create an empire. To be apart of that,
and myself strive with him, has allowed me to make
positive changes in my life that I am forever grateful
to him for.
CSM: How do you set goals for yourself?
SOPHIE: I reflect on my life, see what needs chang-
ing, what I’d like to achieve. Mentally note them in a
special place in my head. Always celebrate what I have
checked off the list, then move on to the next game
changing goal to crush.
CSM: What exactly motivates you to be a game-chang-
er and how do you do it?
SOPHIE: I do it for me! Waking up every day, and kill-
ing it!! Being better than yesterday sounds so cliché but
can’t be a more accurate statement.
CSM: Describe the true nature of being sexy and an
eye-catching individual.
SOPHIE: Always remember to be true to yourself.
Inside beauty is more important than anything, being
a beautiful individual inside and out will truly make
someone have a special shine to them.
CSM: The industry you are in right now is very fast-
paced, full of competition and full of talent and un-
avoidable politics at times. What makes you stand out
and how do you keep up with talented people around
you?
SOPHIE: Embrace other people’s talents, compliment
and acknowledge them. Being ugly in a competitive in-
dustry is never cute. Instead I learn to thrive and feed
off of the competition that I believe will make someone
a true success.
CSM: Being assertive and attentive is required for this
profession. Have you ever made or encountered diffi-
cult decisions? How did you manage that?
SOPHIE: We all get of track, we are only human. You
have to recognize when an obstacle is put in your way,
veering your attention elsewhere, and learn to snap
back into the game. CSM: Work-wise, what does it take to be successful in
this type of profession?
SOPHIE: Social media is huge, but I can’t stress how
being REAL is even more important. Listening to peo-
ple & what they need and guiding them in the best way
possible. Making them feel that they are your only cli-
ent for that hour you are with them.
CSM: How do you handle the situation if people get
intimidated by you and your work?
SOPHIE: Learn to lift and encourage people. Let them
know we all started somewhere in the beginning and
that they too can succeed in reaching their goals, no
matter what it is in! Don’t stop until you get to where
you plan to be. Being looked at in a certain way is a
privilege, I don’t look at it as intimidation, I’m not a
very intimidating person, I don’t believe. I just want to
show people they can go it!! CSM: What is your great advice to those who will ven-
ture this kind of work?
SOPHIE: Educate yourself, start slow, don’t look back
because that makes you stop in your tracks. Take before
pictures, and progression pictures, remember why you
started this journey, and always be true to yourself and
what you believe in.
CSM: What game-changing results do you look for-
ward this year?
SOPHIE: Growing and expanding even more than I
have in the previous. Expanding with my family, our
business, being even better than last year in work, fit-
ness, health & relationships! Being an unstoppable
woman.
CSM: Cast a magic spell and wave your magic wand,
where do you see yourself ten years from now?
SOPHIE: 10 years!! I would say definitely killing
it just as hard. MAYBE an expanded family. Several
businesses with my honey (a coffee shop definitely in-
cluded, & maybe a gym?) I would love to have done
so many bikini competitions by that point that I would
maybe have my pro card, but definitely still growing
and learning just as much as I am now! Sponsorships
would be amazing & more published pictures! Maybe
even the cover of CSM!
