CSM Game-Changer Issue with Cristiano Ronaldo 2019 GAME-CHANGER ISSUE - Heather Blackburn | Page 325
based on where I came from. For my family now
I want my kids to know that you be who you want
to be and you can do extraordinary things. I get up
everyday knowing that they are always watching. I
am setting a standard for them living daily with a life
of no regrets.
CSM: Describe the true nature of being sexy and an
eye-catching individual.
ROXANNE: For me being attractive comes from the
heart. I can look back at my first photoshoot and I
know those first few shots portrayed differently then
they do now. I did not believe in myself and that can
be one of the most unattractive attributes anyone can
carry. Knowing that I am capable and deserving of
great things is still a beast I look out for. Having con-
fidence in myself and believing that my life is mak-
ing an impact is eye catching.
CSM: The industry you are in right now is very fast-
paced, full of competition and full of talent and un-
avoidable politics at times. What makes you stand
out and how do you keep up with talented people
around you?
ROXANNE: Surrounding myself with great people
that are like minded and uplifting creates an even big-
ger talent. I enjoy meeting new people and having
others challenge me. I see these challenging people
in a positive manner and enjoy the conversation to
learn from them. A great nights rest and a balanced
life always sets you up for the day ahead.
CSM: Work-wise, what does it take to be successful
in this type of profession?
ROXANNE: Relationships. Some would say con-
nections but truly having a relationship and knowing
people that you work with is key.
CSM: What is your great advice to those who will
venture this kind of work?
ROXANNE: If you are intrigued by corporate growth
and how it affects cities and people then CRE may be
for you. If you can build relationships and connect
people within your circles then I am sure you will be
successful.
CSM: Cast a magic spell and wave your magic wand,
where do you see yourself ten years from now?
ROXANNE: My husband and I talk about this a lot.
In ten years we will be living on acreage with baby
goats and our last two children will be in college. I
will have a barn for my gym and still be helping oth-
ers in health and fitness to find their balance to live
their best lives. From my small bootcamps to help-
ing people all over the world online.
