Simply because over a call, or online advice is great and convenient as different types of contact is ar- ranged and you can always tweak time slots. Espe- cially if the person to person communicating is over- seas and far away. But with hiring a personal trainer you can have more detail in the sense of building a mental and emotional rapport and can express and elaborate in more depth and make more progress be- cause you can see exactly what’s going on because you’re closer with that person on their journey. In my opinion I feel you have a better understanding and idea of how that person is developing, it’s more personal, hence a personal trainer, because it is very personal. I’m a people person and love my commu- nity so that personal touch means you build strong barriers with a desire to want to do more. CSM: As a fitness and health enthusiast, what are the essential exercises you have to do? Why is that? MYRON: It really depends on your goals and what it is you are training for and what your passion is sports specific related; the types of training I do is a mixture of boxing for my core and endurance levels. Why be- cause I absolutely love it and have been doing this for years from my youth teenage years right up until my adolescence to present. Without your core all that muscle means nothing if you are fit for purpose. When I express this I mean, stamina to do total fitness, which means all areas and components of fitness. I also do some bodybuild- ing and strength-based exercises, such as compound training for lean muscle mass and aesthetics. I love hit training and circuit training, as it is just so much fun and I feel good after intense workouts. For me nothing beats ‘TOTAL FITNESS.’ Enjoying your fit- ness is very important and helps you stay sharp and focused both at work and in your private life. The journey is amazing when you have a plan and stick to it. CSM: Do you have any gym etiquette advice for oth- er people? MYRON: Ensure that when you are training you al- ways use safety clips on the bar and machines and keep your area safe, clean and tidy when you always train. If you are lifting heavy get someone to spot you and if you are unsure of how to use equipment, ask a member of staff or someone with experience too. Stay hydrated and eat and rest well before as well as after training. Aim high but be realistic about your goals around your lifestyle. Try your best to stick to short term, medium-term and long-term goals. Do not be afraid to research and study towards your goals if you want to learn and improve in general. Finally, don’t be afraid to ask any questions you’re unsure of. No one knows everything we all need help some- times. ‘Every day is a school day’. CSM: Fact or myth? Does working out daily improve one’s sexual stamina or prowess during sexual activ- ity? Why do you say so? MYRON: In my opinion and many others I know they will gladly agree that the more stamina and en- durance you have the more sexual stamina that will certainly have. It has for me and it is a great feeling when you train hard and heavy or even very intense, my sexual activity is through the roof. (Smile, deep breath lol). No, it is not a myth!! CSM: Fact or myth? Does living a healthy lifestyle keeps you happy and young? Why is that? MYRON: It can keep you looking and feeling young if you do all the right things; such as eat clean with regular and healthy repetitive sleeping patterns. You will be happy if you do all the right things to be hap- py, you cannot solely rely on having a healthy life- style to be happy. For example, you can be as healthy and as active as you want every day. But if you are going through a difficult time in life and stressed with personal issues and hold backs then simply being healthy isn’t going to fix all your problems. However, it will help reduce stress and increase your happiness. As the saying goes, ‘’prevention is better then cure.’’ Just make sure you know the difference and stay positive with your choices and decisions you make in life it will keep you in good stead to be happy and young for sure! CSM: If you are our health ambassador and a life- style advocate, how would you help promote healthy living in school or in corporate world? MYRON: I would ensure that deadlines and guide- lines are being adhered too. I would embrace and provide positive feed back daily weekly and have monthly reviews around mental health awareness and emulate being a fitness and holistic role model to the masses on social media stories whether, that be posting videos and pictures on my story lines; such as Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and Facebook. I would therefore keep communities and world-wide online followers online and offline. Creating and develop- ing a better in-depth analysis about my job role in relation to health, nutrition, fitness and well-being. More importantly, promoting your brand to my fol- lowers, both existing and new. Travelling all over the world and where ever I go, raising awareness and cap- turing moments through videography, modelling and training both indoors and outdoors. Speaking about lifestyle and creating diversity and being unique sell- ing point to your brand. Educating schools and col- leges, and universities. As I work in university as a fitness professional and rent a studio anyway, this is a real opportunity to add value and key principles to the cause moving forward. Collaborating and sharing information and ideas so we can grow together and build healthy relationships bringing people closer to- gether.
