CSM Game-Changer Issue with Cristiano Ronaldo 2019 BODY ISSUE - Lauren Flodquist | Page 376
CSM: This is your feature debut to be on Center Stage
Magazine, what is the experience like when you are
included in our roster for 2019’s Summer Body is-
sue?
TASHA: It’s exciting!! I feel so honored in mak-
ing it in the issue with other great individuals. I have
never been published in a magazine like this one and
feel humbled being chosen.
CSM: What do you think makes Center Stage Maga-
zine stand-out or makes it unique in other publica-
tions around the globe?
TASHA: From what I have seen, CSM showcases
real individuals. I love seeing everyday people being
featured!
CSM: What are the duties and responsibilities that
entail to your current profession or career?
TASHA: I believe that networking is huge factor in
the industry. Taking care of yourself mentally and
physically is very important.
CSM: This year’s bimonthly edition is about going
for game-changing results in careers and individual-
ity and inspiring people (being a beacon of inspira-
tion); describe how you defied your limits and exude
confidence in your career and what did you do to
push those boundaries.
TASHA: It pretty much started in my childhood. I
had a rocky start to life and found myself wanting
to be better. I had a lot of determination to not be
stereotyped because of my upbringing. With support
from many different people growing up and exceling
in many things, I found the confidence in myself in-
creasing in everything I did. Every time I fell down,
I got right back up. And in the industry that can be
very important.
CSM: Being assertive and attentive is required for
this profession. Have you ever made or encountered
difficult decisions? How did you manage that?
TASHA: Difficult decisions are all throughout life. I
try to tackle them with an open and clear mind. But,
when it comes to the modeling industry I have learned
you have to have thick skin. You often times hear no
a lot, but you also have to learn how to say no…
CSM: How do you handle the situation if people get
intimidated by you and your work?
TASHA: I can sometimes be viewed in this way. But
I am super friendly, so once you meet me you will see
that. I tend to go out of my way to show people there
is no reason to be intimated by me.
CSM: What game-changing results do you look for-
ward this year?
TASHA: Stepping up my game in the industry. I
want to work with people that have the same views
and end goal as myself.
CSM: Describe the person who made an impact in
your life and how that is significant.
TASHA: There are many people that have a huge
impact in my life so it is hard to just pin point one of
them. BUT, my father has always taught me how to
get through the tough times in life and has been there
when I needed him the most.
CSM: How do you set goals for yourself?
TASHA: I set small attainable goals that lead me to
the end goal. If I can meet the small ones, those are
just one step closer to the end goal! Keeping moti-
vated can sometimes be hard, but those small goals
have sure helped me.
CSM: What exactly motivates you to be a game-
changer and how do you do it?
TASHA: Seeing others do great things often moti-
vates me. I wish to have a positive impact on people
and strive to do that in any way.
CSM: Describe the true nature of being sexy and an
eye-catching individual.
TASHA: There is no real right or wrong answer for
this. Everyone is sexy and beautiful in their own way.
I feel that beauty comes within and that it totally out
shines what people see on the outside.
CSM: The industry you are in right now is very fast-
paced, full of competition and full of talent and un-
avoidable politics at times. What makes you stand
out and how do you keep up with talented people
around you?
TASHA: There is so much talent out there! I actually
use them as inspiration a lot of times believe it or not.
As far as standing out, I feel like you don’t meet very
many straight forward and honest people these days.
So I feel that is one thing that stands out about me.
CSM: Work-wise, what does it take to be successful
in this type of profession?
TASHA: Never giving up! When one door closes,
one will open.
CSM: What is your great advice to those who will
venture this kind of work?
TASHA: With social media being huge in this day
and age, it is hard to not compare yourself to others.
My advice is to stop doing that!!! We are all unique
in our own way. Find your niche and go for it! But
more importantly, have fun!!
CSM: Cast a magic spell and wave your magic wand,
where do you see yourself ten years from now?
TASHA: I see myself traveling more and enjoying
life with my significant other.
