MONEUR: That the people who you feature are re- latable which enables readers to share in real peoples journeys as well as to reflect on their own journey. CSM: What are the duties and responsibilities that entail to your current profession or career? MONEUR: I not long left the military and am pretty much new to recruitment. I am an ex-soldier of 10 years. I was ex household cavalry. We had normal duties; I was a corporal in the military where I man- aged a small squadron of soldiers. I did various roles including working with vehicles, medical, training etc. I currently have to use my trade skills to head hunt for clients that would be ideal for my customers in the city CSM: This year’s bimonthly edition is about going for game-changing results in careers and individual- ity and inspiring people (being a beacon of inspira- tion); describe how you defied your limits and exude confidence in your career and what did you do to push those boundaries. MONEUR: I deal with time constraints on a daily ba- sis due to my work. I therefore have to use every bit of time I have to train in order to achieve my goals. CSM: Being assertive and attentive is required for this profession. Have you ever made or encountered difficult decisions? How did you manage that? MONEUR: I think most people encounter difficult decisions at some point in their career and the key for me is confidence. I need to be confident in myself and the decisions I make. CSM: How do you handle the situation if people get intimidated by you and your work? MONEUR: For me I just approach them in a friendly way and make them aware of the fact that I came from exactly where they started and that they can achieve the same. I use my mannerism and character and try to inspire them and help them to believe that they too are capable of achieving their goals. CSM: What game-changing results do you look for- ward this year? MONEUR: Just to see the results and how far I’ve come with all of the hard work I’ve put in. CSM: Describe the person who made an impact in your life and how that is significant. MONEUR: I call him the real Sensei. The reason is because of my debut in the gym, I was pretty fresh, pretty new and not sure what path I wanted to take and in came Sensei. Came in doing something dif- ferent, unique and unusual. It was challenging and things that would take a lot of patience, dedication, time and strength. For me that was calisthenics which relies to isolate individual muscles and be a lot more agile. This results in a lot of free movement and be- ing able to be agile and getting into unusual posi- tions. For that I put him up there as the person who inspires me to keep pushing and not give up. CSM: How do you set goals for yourself? MONEUR: I start with my short-term goals which then lead to a long-term goal. I make sure the short- term goals are easily achievable and long-term goals are things I’ve always aspired to do or try. It motivates me to know I have something to work towards. CSM: What exactly motivates you to be a game- changer and how do you do it? MONEUR: Accomplishing my targets and knowing I can help myself and others and enable them to tap into things that they have always wanted to do. CSM: Describe the true nature of being sexy and an eye-catching individual. MONEUR: Being comfortable within myself and ex- uding confidence, it’s all about the vibe you give off and your character. CSM: The industry you are in right now is very fast- paced, full of competition and full of talent and un- avoidable politics at times. What makes you stand out and how do you keep up with talented people around you? MONEUR: Just being myself and being unique, re- gardless of all the competition knowing I can get to the top. CSM: Work-wise, what does it take to be successful in this type of profession? MONEUR: Dedication, confidence, being inspiring, patience and hard work. CSM: What is your great advice to those who will venture this kind of work? MONEUR: Be yourself and stay humble. CSM: Cast a magic spell and wave your magic wand, where do you see yourself ten years from now?
