CSM Game-Changer Issue with Cristiano Ronaldo 2019 BODY ISSUE - Lauren Flodquist | Page 213
CSM: Describe the person who made an
impact in your life and how that is signifi-
cant.
LAUREN: Not to go all mushy here but
those that knows me know that I have the
Holy Spirit in my life full force. God has com-
pletely changed my life in so many miracu-
lous ways. I 100% believe that I’m where I’m
at and succeeding to the degree that I am be-
cause I make Jesus the center of my world
and include Him in everything I do
CSM: How do you set goals for yourself?
LAUREN: Find something that sounds or
seems impossible and then I find small ways
to start to tackle it which leads to bigger
steps… finally the thing that seemed impos-
sible is accomplished.
CSM: What exactly motivates you to be a
game-changer and how do you do it?
LAUREN: I think for me personally its where
I used to be, where I started from. Those who
know me know I had some struggles in my
early life. I made some poor decisions for
almost a decade and that alone is reason
enough for me to keep persevering. Maybe
it’s to prove I’m not that same person but I
also think it’s to exclaim loud and proud that
I’m never going back to that excessive party
lifestyle. Sober life is the best kind of life.
CSM: Describe the true nature of being
sexy and an eye-catching individual.
LAUREN: I think it’s one’s “soul glow”.
One’s charisma and light that shines out-
wardly. I never strive to be sexy. I strive to be
a light in a very dark world.
CSM: The industry you are in right now is
very fast-paced, full of competition and full
of talent and unavoidable politics at times.
What makes you stand out and how do you
keep up with talented people around you?
LAUREN: I think there’s enough space in the
world for everyone to win. I think I naturally
stand out because of the light and spirit that’s
in me. The thing is, if you hang around me for
a bit I can rub that light off and soon you’ll be
standing out too.
CSM: Work-wise, what does it take to be
successful in this type of profession?
LAUREN: Never taking no for an answer
to start. Also, having to see and experience
something for yourself to know that it’s true.
That saying if you want something done right
you have to do it yourself really rings true for
what I do.
CSM: What is your great advice to those
who will venture this kind of work?
LAUREN: Be tenacious, relentless and take
no crap from anyone but also be the person
that everyone wants to work with.
CSM: Cast a magic spell and wave your
magic wand, where do you see yourself ten
years from now?
LAUREN: Owning several businesses, lead-
ing women’s ministry, traveling the world to
speak, and being a kickass wife and mom.
