LEWYS: Very important as nutrition and diet is the fundamental key to achieving your dream physique and staying healthy. CSM: Describe the essential skills to be effective in maintaining your figure or shape. LEWYS: Keep track your diet and keep training in the gym. CSM: What are your ideas about non-organic food versus organic? LEWYS: If you can afford organic food then I would recommend it but if not the benefits aren’t worth going bankrupt for. CSM: What are your views on an all-meat diet versus a vegan diet? LEWYS: Both has its advantages and disadvan- tages. Every food source has a purpose. It comes down to the quantity and consuming everything in moderation. CSM: What groups of food do you usually eat? LEWYS: Fats, carbs, and protein. Main macro- nutrient sources: carbohydrates – basmati rice and rolled oats; fats – cooking oil and peanut but- ter; protein – whey isolate, chicken, white fish and turkey. CSM: Do you think customized meal plans are really necessary? Why is that? LEWYS: Yes, as some people don’t have the knowledge or determination to do it themselves. CSM: Any fitness goals for yourself? What are you aiming now? LEWYS: To lose 1% body fat for my next body- building competition. CSM: There are a lot of online coaches and life- style advisers out in the market already, what are the factors that people should take into consid- eration when hiring a personal trainer or online coaches or maybe investing some time and mon- ey to them? LEWYS: What is the coach going to offer? What exactly is involved? Have you heard any reviews about this coach? Do you have the time to fol- low the plan? Can you afford it? Do you really need a coach or can you do this by yourself? Ask as many questions as possible about the coaches training methods. How long the plan for is and how much involvement is the coach going to have? CSM: As a fitness and health enthusiast, what are the essential exercises you have to do? Why is that? LEWYS: At first, stick to the compound lifts as these are the most effective. In general, com- pound exercises utilize multiple joints with free weights. LEWYS: Yes, it does. Lifting weights will im- prove your overall fitness as well as increas- ing your testosterone, which increases your sex drive. CSM: Fact or myth? Does living a healthy life- style keeps you happy and young? Why is that? LEWYS: Yes. Making just a few changes in your lifestyle can help you live longer. A recent study found that four bad behaviors – smoking, drinking too much, not exercising, and not eating enough fruits and vegetables will decrease your life span. CSM: If you are our health ambassador and a lifestyle advocate, how would you help promote healthy living in school or in corporate world? LEWYS: By teaching all the benefits that you will gain from living a healthy lifestyle, exercis- es and eating the correct food. Advise to people who want to lose weight and be sexy? LEWYS: Consistency is the fundamental key. Firstly, you have to have a plan that is maintain- able then you have to stay accountable to the plan.
