CSM Game-Changer Issue with Cristiano Ronaldo 2019 BODY ISSUE - Lauren Flodquist | Page 282
CSM: This is your feature debut to be on Center Stage
Magazine, what is the experience like when you are
included in our roster for 2019’s Summer Body is-
sue?
QUINN: Getting the opportunity to be a part of the
Center Stage Magazine is amazing. It’s a crazy feel-
ing when you used to look at magazines and wonder
what it would be like to be someone in them and now
here we are.
CSM: What do you think makes Center Stage Maga-
zine stand-out or makes it unique in other publica-
tions around the globe?
QUINN: Center Stage keeps their production clean
cut and professional which I think the printed market
could use.
CSM: What are the duties and responsibilities that
entail to your current profession or career?
QUINN: Well for one of my professions I knock
door to door as a salesman, the good kind though,
not the bad kind you read horror stories about. In my
business, I handle the nutrition and training aspect of
my clients along with accountability and mentality
training.
CSM: This year’s bimonthly edition is about going
for game-changing results in careers and individual-
ity and inspiring people (being a beacon of inspira-
tion); describe how you defied your limits and exude
confidence in your career and what did you do to
push those boundaries.
QUINN: I think most importantly is just to never set
concrete goals. Doing so does two things: 1) It puts
a ceiling on your capabilities and what you’re aiming
for, and 2) If you hit that goal in a quick manner then
it can leave you feeling complacent and then you’ll
become lazy.
CSM: Being assertive and attentive is required for
this profession. Have you ever made or encountered
difficult decisions? How did you manage that?
QUINN: I think everyone goes through tough times
and tough decisions. I just feel like it’s not always
easy to pick the correct choice but whatever you do
you have to live with the consequences, good or bad.
So being able to take responsibility for your own ac-
tions comes into play.
CSM: How do you handle the situation if people get
intimidated by you and your work?
QUINN: I just be myself and they see that I’m not
this big intimidating guy, but rather a humble soft
spoken individual who is just trying to help.
CSM: What game-changing results do you look for-
ward this year?
QUINN: I look forward to seeing the mental change
in everyone and seeing those individuals become
stronger in the physical, emotional and mental as-
pect.
CSM: Describe the person who made an impact in
your life and how that is significant.
QUINN: I would have to describe my mother because
without her I wouldn’t be the person I am today. My
entire life she’s shown me hard work and dedication
and that family comes first.
CSM: How do you set goals for yourself?
QUINN: I don’t do the 5, 10, 20 year thing because
those goals are too far away to focus on. I think about
what I want to be doing in the next 6-12 months then
I narrow my sight and go for that. Small short goals
lead to the completion of longer ones.
CSM: What exactly motivates you to be a game-
changer and how do you do it?
QUINN: My motivation comes from being different
than everyone else. I don’t want to be the kind of
person that sits back and lets life roll by while I work
a 9-5 job with nothing to show for it. I want to live
life by my terms.
CSM: Describe the true nature of being sexy and an
eye-catching individual.
QUINN: It’s kind of hard to explain. I enjoy the at-
tention, but I think that its hard to explain because
I have become accustomed to some of the attention
to the point where I don’t even notice. I’ll be walk-
ing with a friend and they’ll say, “Did you see that?”
Then go on to explain that some people were looking
at us and I always miss it.
CSM: The industry you are in right now is very fast-
paced, full of competition and full of talent and un-
avoidable politics at times. What makes you stand
out and how do you keep up with talented people
around you?
QUINN: Every industry has competition whether it’s
selling paper or modeling. All you can do is be your-
self to the fullest. I don’t pretend to be something
I’m not and I think people can see that in my posts
and what I do, and in turn that earns me trust and
respect.
CSM: Work-wise, what does it take to be successful
in this type of profession?
QUINN: Honestly, knowing the right people at the
right time is everything. As the saying goes, “It’s not
what you know, it’s who you know.”
CSM: What is your great advice to those who will
venture this kind of work?
QUINN: Don’t be afraid to be adventurous. Set
limits on what you’re willing to do and do not cross
those limits no matter what. You are in control in
every situation.
CSM: Cast a magic spell and wave your magic wand,
where do you see yourself ten years from now?
QUINN: Probably on a boat somewhere with my
dog and a pretty lady next to me, cruising the gulf in
Tampa, but who knows.
