Civic Reception, 50th Anniversary
CSF’s volunteers and Life Members were honoured
at a special civic reception event, arranged by
Frankston City Council (FCC), in recognition of CSF’s
50 valuable years of service to the Frankston Com-
munity.
FCC Mayor, Cr Colin Hampton gave a speech and
presented a plaque to CSF chair, Sue Smith, that
included the words “we appreciate the high level of
commitment shown by the many volunteers who
have been involved with the service for the last 50
years”.
Community Support Frankston
A special video address by the now Prime Minister
of Australia, Scott Morrison MP also paid tribute to
all CSF volunteers part and present, while MP for
Dunkley, Chris Crewther MP spoke of the importance
of CSF’s services to the people of Frankston.
Opening its doors in 1968, CSF was one of the first
community services to be established in Frankston.
50 years is an achievement that we are extremely
proud of. We hope for a 100 years in Frankston mile-
stone that continues to see us all working together
towards common goals, never forgetting those in
Frankston that have fallen on tough times.
