THROUGH SERVICES , PROJECTS & PARTNERSHIPS
Community Support Frankston prides itself on being active in arranging local Community Events to support those in need in Frankston , and this year saw us host , in partnership with Frankston City Council , Monash University , the Frankston Homelessness Network and the Frankston Emergency Relief Providers ( FERP ) Network , two very successful events – the Homelessness Week Community Event in August 2019 and RUOK Day in September 2019 .
Offering everything from hot food ( with the Monash Uni Team cooking up a storm on the BBQ – pictured above ), drinks , clothing , haircuts , health checks dental / optical / podiatry checks , giveaways and even live music , events like these also help to remind some people in our community that they are not alone .
CSF received extremely positive feedback on our social media pages from both attendees and supporters of these events .
Due to the pandemic this year , we were unfortunately unable to proceed with our Wall of Kindness week , although did purchase many brand new coats for clients in need , which were distributed via CSF ’ s new ‘ bunker ’ during the Winter months .
