Research
Students can participate in research projects from the very beginning of their time at the University of Utah . Undergraduates participate in paid opportunities to work in laboratories , develop their own ideas through senior theses and independent projects , and even become authors on papers . Undergraduate and graduate students work in collaborative teams with faculty members to provide the basis for solutions to problems that will work by tackling the problem through multiple perspectives .
