The College of Social and Behavioral Science is focused on addressing today ’ s critical challenges with real-world , human solutions . Our students take courses , are members of research teams , engage in internships , and partner with community members to produce solutions that address a wide array of our most pressing issues in the 21st century : water scarcity , the growing income gap in our country , climate change , health care disparities , the obesity crisis , immigration policy , trauma and mental health , cultural extinction , international security , and being distracted by technologies such as cell phones to name but a few .
