Integrated Arts Exploration (Ages 8-13)
Students will explore a variety of art disciplines and get a taste of what OCSA’s
Integrated Arts Conservatory has to offer. Students will have the opportunity to
experience a new arts discipline each week, engage with several different OCSA
conservatory instructors, and discover their artistic interests, while building important
creative skills that can be applied across arts and academic disciplines.
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Ages 8-10)
1 p.m. – 4 p.m. (Ages 11-13)

Introduction to Figure Drawing (Ages 11-15)
This class is specially designed for the young artist. Students will learn the basics of
figure drawing while honing their observational drawing skills. Students will work from
live clothed models and learn how to capture gesture, foreshortening, proportions,
and basic anatomy, including skeletons and muscles. Basic planes/forms of the
human figure and techniques to capture the action of a pose with various mediums
will also be explored. It is recommended that students have a basic understanding of
drawing skills and an interest in improving their technical drawing skills.

Mixed Media Visual Arts Exploration (Ages 11-15)
In this exploratory class, students will learn to create multimedia projects in both two
and three dimensions. Utilizing techniques such as collage/decoupage, printmaking,
papier mâché, textile manipulation, molding, and found object sculpture, students
will create works based on their strengths and interests, and develop essential
problem-solving skills in a variety of practical art forms. This class is perfect for
aspiring model builders, cosplayers, crafters, and artistic entrepreneurs.
