Introduction to Art (Ages 8-11)
Students will receive a great introduction to the building of foundational art skills. This
class is designed for students who are interested in visual arts, but have little-to-no
arts training. This class will allow students to explore a variety of 2D and 3D mediums,
including acrylic, ink, color pencil, markers, and more!
Time: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Introduction to Filmmaking (Ages 11-15)
Students will learn hands-on film production skills alongside other future filmmakers.
Led by an OCSA teaching artist, these young storytellers will write, direct, and edit
short films. This class will provide students with a great introduction to the basics of
filmmaking.
Time: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Musical Theatre Exploration (Ages 9-12)
This fun exploration class will engage students’ imaginations, teach teamwork through
collaboration, build confidence, and help young actors find their creative voice. Mirroring
the curriculum taught at OCSA, this class will provide a fun-yet-disciplined approach
to the process of developing fundamental skills through training in acting, singing, and
dance. While this class will culminate in a short demonstration for parents, students’
primary focus will be learning the fundamentals of acting, singing, and dancing through
the creative process.

Painting & Drawing (Ages 11-15)
In this fun-filled class, students will create artworks based on real-life observation and
imaginative design. Using step-by-step methods and creative problem solving, students
will explore a variety of mediums and techniques for the purpose of building both their
skill level and portfolio. The class will culminate with a gallery-style exhibition of student
work for friends and family to enjoy.
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
