Acting (Ages 11-15)
Students will be introduced to acting fundamentals in a fun, collaborative, and supportive
environment. They will practice monologues, scene work, and improvisation techniques,
as well as stretch their creative storytelling muscles while collaborating on an acting
demonstration for their family to enjoy.
Time: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: $450
Animation (Ages 11-15)
Students will learn to animate digitally while exploring the fundamentals of animation,
including how to create the illusion of life and movement through a variety of techniques and
approaches while creating several short animated films. Students in this class might also be
interested in Animation Technique or Character Design.
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Cost: $500
Animation Technique (Ages 11-15)
Students will explore traditional animation techniques, including hand-drawn cells, stop
motion, claymation, and more, while learning the fundamentals of animation and how to
create the illusion of life and movement. It is recommended that students have a basic
background in drawing fundamentals. Students interested in this class might also enjoy
Animation or Character Design
Time: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: $500
Character Design for Video Game (Ages 11-15)
Students will redesign and create characters from scratch. Working primarily in Adobe
Photoshop, emphasis will be placed on process and technique. Students will design
everything needed to tell a compelling story, including characters, clothing, tools, vehicles,
animals, and environments. It is recommended that students take this course in conjunction
with Animation or Video Game Design.
Time: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: $500
Creative Kids Workshop (Ages 5-7)
Students will participate in creative play and exploration of the arts by engaging in a variety of
arts disciplines, including theatre, dance, music, fine arts, and storytelling. This class exists to
help young children become accustomed to creativity and the wide world of arts.
Time: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
