Com Chandra Pullareddy ( C . P ) was born on Sep 1 st , 1918 in Velugodu , Kurnool district , Andhra Pradesh in a peasant family . He did his schooling in Kurnool , Intermediate from Loyola College and Engineering at Guindy College of Engineering in the then Madras now Chennai . Influenced by the Anti-British National Movement , he plunged into the Freedom Struggle .
C . P was one of the student leaders who organized the strike in 1940 to protest the arrest of Nehru and the Imperialists ’ War . With the association of Communist leader Mohan Kumar Mangalam , C . P adopted Marxism-Leninism as his philosophical and political outlook . He even decided to discontinue engineering education .
C . P was intensely involved in nationalist and communist party activities . He was expelled from the Engineering College . He then tried to join Madanapalle College to work as a student organizer . Madanapalle College came to know of his activities in Madras and did not give him admission . He then started working as a party organizer in Kurnool district . During the Telangana armed peasant struggle ( 1946-50 ) he went underground and carried out revolutionary activities . He was arrested during the Quit India Movement in 1942 , Telangana armed struggle in 1950 , the Indo-China border dispute under the Defense of India Act in 1962 and in 1964 under same charges .
He was at the forefront of the struggle against revisionism and neorevisionism in the communist movement .
He went into the forest areas of Khammam and Warangal with the aim of establishing Liberated Zones in rural areas . He built a revolutionary movement against feudal and exploitative forces in the forest area . He built ‘ Praja Pratighatana ’ selfdefense armed squads and expanded the resistance movement with strong determination .
He contributed his part to bring the revolutionary movement under one roof , which was in disarray with many political , ideological and practical problems . He was anxious to meet and strived to re-organize the comrades who differed and disagreed severely . In the process he travelled extensively and even neglected his health and illness , and was martyred on November 9 , 1984 .
Com . Chandra Pulla Reddy is a revered person . He is a person of perseverance who has not rested since childhood till he achieved what he set out to do . Com C . P was a warrior who endured no matter how difficult it was to accomplish the task he had undertaken . These are ideal characteristics to look up to in Communist Revolutionaries .

Com . SNS was born on 30th January 1923 in Dhamar village , Arrah district of Bihar and he died on 21st October 1984 due to renal failure in Vishakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh when he went there to hold unity talks with CC , CPI ( ML ).
Com . SNS joined communist party during Second World War while he was working in air force of British India . While he was in service in 1946 he refused to salute British Union Jack . On this charge he had to serve two years of punishment in prison . After coming out from jail he became a professional revolutionary in Communist Party of India ( CPI ). As party worker he was placed in charge of Shahabad dist . organization of Bihar and later was deputed to the organization of South Bihar districts .
In 1952 Com SNS led a historical struggle of workers in Jamshedpur against Tatas . For that he along with three other leaders of CPI were arrested in 1952 in Jamshedpur Conspiracy case and remained in jail for 8 years . In 1962 he was again arrested as he opposed war with China and remained in jail for 4 years . In the split with Dange revisionists in CPI he remained with CPI ( M ).
