To Raise the Voice against the Brutal Killing of Lakhimpur Peasants
In a very shocking and heinous incident , five farmers were murdered in Tikonia area of Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh . It is confirmed that Ashish Mishra Teni ( son of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Ajay Mishra Teni ) came with three vehicles while the peacefully protesting farmers were dispersing from their protest at the helipad and mowed down the vehicles on farmers . It is also confirmed that they also attacked SKM leader Tajinder Singh Virk directly , by trying to run a vehicle over him . There were also shots fired , and one of the deaths was by this shooting by Ashish Mishra Teni and his team . There are around 12 to 15 persons injured and they have been hospitalised .

Where there is oppression , where there is exploitation , there rises a peasant movement , there rises a people ’ s movement . In the state of Uttar Pradesh , the region of Lakhimpur Kheri has a history of peasant movement . Yet to this day the oppression has not subsided , neither the peasant movement .
Early in the morning of 3 rd October , 2021 , hundreds of farmers stood on the side of the road leading to the village of the Union Minister , Ajay Kumar Mishra alias Teni . They stretched for 3 kilometres long and are peacefully protesting with black flags in front of BJP and RSS leaders for the abolition of three agricultural black laws . Union Minister Mishra ’ s son , an RSS leader and Mishra ’ s younger brother and their goons suddenly and brutally mowed their cars over the farmers and shot them with guns . Farmers were crushed and dragged under the wheels of the cars . They even fired at the fleeing farmers . The police , ACP and DCP also ran around to save their lives from falling under these cars . They tried to threaten the peasantry through this incident of cinematic terror . As per the information received till now , four farmers died on the spot and a journalist died of injuries later . Farmers showed the media , a bullet in the head of a farmer shot by the minister ’ s son . Many suffered serious injuries . Some have sustained bullet injuries .
After terrorizing the farmers , while they are escaping their car toppled and caught fire killing their driver . Another of the murderous Mishra ’ s cars toppled and got sunk in the fields killing two of their men in that accident . The junior Mishra has escaped under police protection while farmers are attending the injured men . Soon the farmers recovered from the shock and tragedy and caught three 28
Governments to muzzle the farmers movement . The yesterday ' s ghastly incident also bears a message that Narendra Modi government can go to any extent to serve the interest of big corporate and Multinational corporations undermining the people ’ s demand . But Narendra Modi Govt will not be able to bow down the voices of the farmers and today the whole country stands by the farmers in this hour of grief and tribulations . Our party CPI ( ML ) condemns this murderous act of the BJP leaders and pays respectful homage to the departed farmers . We urge the people to raise the voice against the brutal killing of farmers in broad daylight and build this grief into a vibrant movement .

In any case this was not a random violent attack but a well-planned attack to threaten the farmers . For the past four days this Union Minister from UP is challenging farmers to dare come in front of him . At two public meetings on September 25 , he himself said that he is a big goon . While a day before this terrifying event , Haryana Chief Minister Khattar , in an address to 5000-6000 BJP and RSS cadre , asked them to attack the farmers with sticks , and that he will ensure no legal action be taken against them ; Also , a day before , farmers of Punjab and Haryana forced governments to buy grain . All these incidents are not disconnected . To sum up , the RSS and the BJP are coming out with their true nature of autocracy and oppression to provoke the farmers . They are repeatedly proving that they are more aggressive than the Congress in their service to imperialists and foreign & domestic Big Corporates .
The fact that the peasantry has never turned their backs in the face of batons and bullets by any ruling governments is proved by history . The peasant movement must be protected from these ruling class conspiracies . Farmers must be informed of the real causes for the gradual increase in violent attacks and atrocities against them as a result of the ruling class ’ s exploitative practices before and after globalization . AIKMKS appeals to people from all walks of life to continue their agitations unitedly .
