The Central Committee of CPI ( M-L ) Janasakthi gives a revolutionary salute to Comrade Madhu , ( 78 ) a revolutionary intellectual , member of CPI ( M-L ) central committee secretariat and the editor of its organ ‘ Class Struggle ’. It conveys deep condolences to the ranks of that party and Padma , Madhu ’ s wife and Ajitha , his daughter . Especially our heartfelt condolences to Comrade Viswam for losing a close comrade who worked with him for a long period . The untimely death of Comrades Jaswanth and Madhu within a short period of time , who were active in the theoreticalpolitical work is not only a loss to their organization CPI ( M-L ) , but also the Indian revolutionary movement as a whole . They devoted their valuable youth and their lives completely to organize a revolutionary party . Their will power and their commitment for the liberation of the people of India are exemplary . Comrade Madhu ’ s contribution to the revolutionary movement through unity-splits-and again unity process is unforgettable . The real tribute to Comrade Madhu will be to follow his unstinted commitment and continuation of his efforts for the unity of revolutionary organizations .
Comrade Madhu was the revolutionary son of the turbulent decade . He started his political life as a revolutionary student under the leadership of Comrade Devulapalli Venkateswararao . He later became the central committee secretary of UCCRI ( M-L ). His revolutionary life continued until his last breath on the morning of 16 th April 2021 as a member of the central committee secretariat of CPI ( M-L ). He was born in the Palamuru district of heroic Telangana and held tight the revolutionary flag in his 15 th year . Though studied law course while being employed in some job , he had no personal life except party life . Since 1973 when he took up the responsibility of state committee member of UCCIR ( M-L ) he was involved in that responsibility until his last breath .
The role and contribution of Comrade Madhu , as the secretary of the central committee of UCCRI ( M-L ) in bipartite and tripartite unity talks with CPI ( M-L ) Resistance , and CPI ( M-L ) New Democracy is immemorable . These talks finally with some omissions and additions led to the unity talks with several other groups and finally emerged the unity of seven organizations as CPI ( M-L ) Janasakthi . We worked with Comrade Madhu until 1996 when he was in charge of Orissa state as the member of central secretariat of CPI ( M-L ) Janasakthi . Though there were primarily some political and organizational differences which led to a split it is not an exaggeration to say that these efforts of unity have taught several lessons to the unity of revolutionaries in future . Only when the Indian revolutionary movement achieves a single united revolutionary party by following the dialectic of unity- struggle- unity we can immortalize the sacrifices of thousands of martyrs including Comrade Madhu . Then only we can make the dreams of the oppressed people of India fulfilled .
Johar Comrade Madhu ! Let us achieve the aspirations of martyrs .
