Revolutionary Salutes to Comrade Madhu , Marxist- Leninist Intellectual and Revolutionary Leader of India !

A year elapsed ( April 16 , 2021 ) since the martyrdom of Com Madhu , CPI ( ML ) Central Executive Committee Member ( CECM ) and editor of ‘ Class Struggle ’ magazine . The first commemoration meeting of Com Madhu was held under the auspices of the CPI ( ML ) Odisha State Committee on 29 th April 2022 at Lohia Academy in Bhubaneswar and presided by Com . Srikant Mohanty . At the beginning of the meeting , members of the Central Committee from various states and Party ranks in Odisha paid floral tributes to Com Madhu ’ s portrait .
Com . Srikant Mohanty in his address said – Com . Madhu has dedicated his 60 years of revolutionary career to the mass line with immense commitment . He played a key role in leading the party in Odisha by giving proper guidance to the movement and organisation . Com Madhu ’ s life partner Com . Padma and daughter Com . Ajitha are working in our Party .
CPI ( ML ) Central Committee leader Com S . Jhansi said- “ Com Madhu ’ s political life started during his student days at the age of 15 . He adopted Marxism , Leninism and Mao ’ s thought as his world view and carried out higher responsibilities in State and the Central Committees . At the time of his demise he was the CECM of CPI ( ML ) established by Com . Kanu Sanyal and the Editor of the ‘ Class Struggle ’ magazine . He has written numerous articles and documents on how revolutionary communists must work and made exceptional efforts in the field of literature and culture . Even after the doctors diagnosed him with ILD , he remained calm , courageous and carried out his party duties with revolutionary commitment and dedication . The role played by Com . Jaswantha Rao and Com . Madhu in the Indian Revolutionary movement is crucial and incomparable . My red salutes to them !”
CPI ( ML ) CECM , Com . Subodh Mitra “ recollected his association with Com . Madhu from the then UCCRI ( ML ) to the CPI ( ML ) today at various stages and the responsibilities that were carried out together . He remembered Com Madhu ’ s indescribable efforts especially in uniting the communist revolutionaries and in continuing the unity process . He said with Com . Madhu ’ s demise he lost a great revolutionary companion and it is our duty to carry forward Com . Madhu ’ s ideals with revolutionary spirit . CPI ( ML ) CECM , Com . Aravind Sinha said , “ In the present Indian conditions , unity of the revolutionaries is the need of the hour . The Indian Revolutionary movement requires intellectual activist like Com . Madhu , who was in constant study and with high revolutionary commitment . His demise is a loss to the unity process of the revolutionaries . He was instrumental in enforcing the decisions taken at the Central Committee meetings , he would accept and carry out responsibility given by the party with a smile . He discharged organisational responsibilities in various states effectively and strengthened the party organisation in difficult times . Com Madhu ’ s role in building a revolutionary party in India with a Marxist-Leninist perspective and his ideological efforts are remarkable . Com Madhu ’ s life is an inspiration and we have a great responsibility to make up for his loss .”
