Homage to Com . Madhu , CC Member of CPI ( ML )
Central Committee of CPI ( ML ) - New Democracy expresses its deep sorrow at the death of Comrade Madhu , Member of the Central Committee of CPI ( ML ) - Class Struggle and Editor of its Central Organ ‘ Class Struggle ’. Com . Madhu died today ( April 16 ) at 4 A . M . He was 78 years old .
Com . Madhu had started his revolutionary life as an activist of student organization during united communist period . In 1973 he was made a member of Andhra Pradesh , state committee of Andhra Pradesh Communist Committee ( Revolutionaries ). He had been a central committee member of UCCRI ( ML ) from 1976 onwards . From then he worked continuously as CC member of that organization and organizations that emerged out of unity of that organization and its CC secretary at different periods .
He continued to work for the revolutionary movement till his very last . His was indeed a long journey in the revolutionary movement from 15 years of age till his death at 78 years . He was very keen for the unity of communist revolutionaries and always played an active role in that process .
The death of Com . Madhu is a great loss to CPI ( ML ) -Class Struggle and to the communist revolutionary movement as a whole .
CPI ( ML ) -New Democracy pays its homage to the departed communist revolutionary leader Com . Madhu . We express our condolences to his wife , his daughter and to his colleagues of CPI ( ML ) -Class Struggle . Communist revolutionary organizations will continue the process of building revolutionary movement to realize the dreams for which Com . Madhu had worked throughout his entire life .

The sudden demise of Com .
Madhu , leader of CPI ( M-L ), in the early hours of April 16 th , due to heart attack is a shock to us , the central committee of CPI ( M . L ) - New Democracy . We expresses our heartfelt revolutionary tributes to Com . Madhu .
Com . Madhu is a member of the Central Committee secretariat , CPI ( ML ). After the death of Com . Jaswanth , he took up the responsibility as editor for the Central Committee magazine , Class Struggle . He is 78 years old at the time of his death . Com . Madhu ( Chari ) is from Mahabubnagar district . He was attracted to revolutionary politics from the age of 15 years and started working in revolutionary politics from his student years . He came to Hyderabad as a student and completed his Law degree . Though he is from a poor family he does not for a law career but made revolution his sole career . On the eve of Naxalbari , and after the separation of Andhra revolutionaries from CPI ( M ). Com . Madhu moved with revolutionary leaders Devulapalli Venkateswararao , Tarimela Nagi Reddy , Chandra Pulla Reddy , Kolla Venkaiah .
He worked in the erstwhile APRCP and UCCRI ( ML ). From 1973 onwards he worked actively along with Com . D . V and Com . T . N as an organizer . He rose to the State Committee by 1973 . At the time of conflicts in the party he strongly supported the politics of Comrades Devulapalli and Nagireddy . He worked as a member of the Central Committee that is under the leadership of Com . D . V and after differences with Com . DV he moved out . For some time , he worked as the secretary to the newly formed Central Committee .
He fought with the extremist and revisionist ideologies and worked for the unity of revolutionary groups till his last breath . He played a crucial role in preparing the documents on correct revolutionary political line for his revolutionary organization . He played a significant role in his organization ’ s attempts for unity many a time and in achieving some of the victories he played a victorious role .
He played his part along with the members of his organization ’ s Central Committee in the efforts to achieve unity with CPI ( ML ) -ND. He is part of the main architects of the tripartite note brought out by C . P . I ( M-L ) N . D , CPI ( M-L ) Resistance & CPI ( ML ) during 1989-90 , 91 .
Since 1970 , Com . Madhu has congenial relations with the leaders of our organization as they worked together at one point of time . Even though the relation between our two organizations worsened for a decade , again from 1980 onwards efforts were made by both organizations for unity and he played a significant role in that . He sincerely worked in the unity efforts of Six organizations . Even in the recent August 2020 unity efforts among 4 organizations , he played his part . In the discussions of March 4 th & 5 th 2021 that led to a decisive turn , he played his role in a very responsible way . He acted as an important writer in preparing the party documents and reviews . His role in preparing joint notes by various organizations is commendable . He dedicatedly worked all his life to implement Marxism-Leninism and Mao thought . To his capacity he made all efforts to run his party in the line of Cultural revolution . He is a leader , talks less but writes very well in both English and Telugu .
