Comrade Madhu Remembrance
Comrade Madhu , a member of the Central Executive Committee of CPI ( ML ) and the editor of the party ’ s front organ Class Struggle , passed away on April 16 at 4.30 AM due to cardiac arrest and also infected Covid-19 . According to the Covid protocol , the last rites were performed that evening in the presence of relatives and party workers . A memorial meeting was held to commemorate the memory of Comrade .
Comrade Madhu was born into a poor family . He was a law graduate . He never use the law degree for individual earning and personal gain , but used it to strengthen the struggle for a firm foothold in communist ideology . During his studies he was active in the student movement of the Undivided Communist Party and when the party split he joined the CPM party unit . But as the CPM succumbed to right-wing opportunism and revisionism , he joined hands with the Communist Revolutionary Organization formed in Andhra Pradesh . Comrade had high responsibilities in that organization . Since then he has been a member of the Central Committee of the UCCRI ( M-L ) from 1976 onwards . After the death of T . Nagi Reddy , Comrade Madhu led the party from the front during emergency period . He later served as General Secretary and Member of the Central Committee of the United Communist Revolutionary Organizations . He fell ill with a heart ailment when he returned to Vijayawada after serving in Orissa as a member of the Central Executive Committee of the CPI ( M- L ), which was formed with the party led by Comrade Kanusanyal . He was admitted to the hospital and identified that he was suffering from Covid . He then passed away at 4.30 am on the same day .

Red Salutes to Comrade Madhu
Comrade Madhu ’ s separation is a great loss to the communist revolutionaries . The loss of comrades with so much experience working in the undivided Communist Party and revolutionary movements is an irreparable loss . To this day , Comrade ’ s life has upheld high communist values and has been a guide for all public figures , especially the Communists . Comrade ’ s separation is very painful for the party state committee in Kerala . He was always there to solve the organizational problems of the party in Kerala and to explain to the comrades the correct political position of the party . The Kerala State Committee expresses its deepest condolences on the demise of Comrade who had established personal friendship with all comrades . He left us in the midst of the relentless efforts to achieve the unity of the Communist revolutionaries in India . To this end , he took the initiative to organize a seminar for revolutionary parties last year to find and resolve issues that hinder the unity of the revolu tionary movement in India . Once again , the party ’ s state committee pays tribute to Comrade . The State Committee of the Party also shares the grief of Comrade Padma , his wife , Comrade Ajitha , daughter , relatives , friends and party workers .
