Dear Sisters and Brothers !
The policies of the BJP government for the last decade created crisis in the lives of people . National income has contracted . The government is being run on debts and it is now in the mire of debts . The people are burdened with these debts . Unemployed youth numbers are growing and touching skies . The industrial sector is stunted . The government decided to sell off the public sector to the big bourgeoisie and imperialist compradors . It is privatising the education and health sectors . The rural peasants depending on agriculture are forced to become migrants . The old feudal landlords there are indulging in suppression and at the same time land is being concentrated in the hands of new landlords . It is allotting thousands and lakhs of acres of land to SEZs and Corporates and thus converting the peasants as landless . It is planning to handover the mineral wealth of the forests to Ambanis and Adanis and accordingly it is depriving the rights of Adivasis in the name of forest conservation .
Water for irrigation , agricultural implements , seeds , fertilisers , pesticides etc . snatched away from peasants and society became the property of the government . The market rates of the agricultural products are driving the peasants and the consumers into a crisis . The weavers not only became the prisoners of master weavers but also becoming victims of corporate sector .
Religious tolerance and secularism which respects all kinds of rituals are being driven out of the lives of the people . The superiority of a particular religion is being thrust on the people in an autocratic way . The government is supporting fanaticism in the name of establishing Hindu Rashtra and is propagating ideology of Hindutva fascism . It is supporting the hierarchical caste system . In the name of development it is increasing animosity and friction among the languages , nationalities and regions . In the name of tradition it is supporting the conservatism and superstition . It has made several plans to inject degenerated feudal and capitalist values from the childhood itself . It is violently attacking those who question the old traditions . It is rejecting the democratic culture and is trying to suppress it .
In the political sector the present government is distorting the principles of the constitution that were framed 24 by the bourgeoisie itself to their advantage . In the place of federal system it is trying hard to establish dictatorial unitary system . It is showing discrimination towards the states which do not toe its line . It is creating differences of opinion between states and between different sections within a state . It is trying to control the people by using several welfare plans . The regions and castes are being turned as vote banks . The right to vote is being manipulated .
The bourgeois class is publicly using its dominant capitalist degenerated culture in the political field . It is buying voters . It is also buying MLAs , MPs and ministers . It is not following even bourgeoisie practices . These parties expound nonviolence on one hand and on the other hand they resort to terror politics as their political policy . The government is following the fascist tradition of wiping out of progressive ideology .
BJP and its Sangh Parivar are resorting to these trends without strong and credible opposition . It is laying strong foundations to the fascist rule . People have to put an end to this march to fascist rule . We have to defeat this fascist regime . This much we want to tell the people in this critical political situation . Though elections may be a limited instrument to thwart the fascist drive of BJP , we can express our protest and anger even with this instrument .
Communists , progressives and revolutionary forces have to extend and strengthen their bases among people . Then only we can defeat reactionary , fascist political , economic and cultural policies and lay a basis for a democratic system .
Revolutionary and Democratic Forces are to Unite !
� Implement comprehensive land reforms !
� Stop the privatisation of public sector and natural resources !
� Production in agricultural sector and industrial sector in a coordinated manner and implemented accordingly !
� Farmers should be given remunerative prices for their crops !!
� Four labour codes must be repealed !!
