RSYC Strongly Condemns the Brutal State Sponsored Violence on the Protesting Farmers
Farmers and agriculture workers are mobilized and marching towards the capital to demand a Minimum Support Price ( MSP ) guarantee law , exiting from the W orld Trade Organisation agreements , pensions for elderly farmers and agriculture workers , the waiver of farmers ’ loans , and the scrapping of the new electricity law . The state has resorted to using brutal repressive measures , resulting in the injury of many protesters and the death of one farmer , to stop this march . Conventional and drone assisted Tear gas shelling , rubber bullets , pellet guns were hurled at the protestors , along with threats of slapping NSA charges against the union leaders .
Rise in Rage against the Fascist ABVP Attack on JNU Students
The Fascist goons have unleashed attacks on the students of Jawaharlal Nehru University , who were fighting against the RSS-JNU administration nexus , demanding students ’ union elections . Yesterday night , when the students were organising a general body meeting to demand the JNUSU elections , ABVP goons attacked the students . They started arbitrarily hitting the students with bamboo sticks , severely injuring many students , with many having been rushed to the hospital and trauma centre . Comrade Sourya , an organiser of Revolutionary Students Youth Campaign , was severely injured , along with many others .

RSYC strongly condemns the brutal state sponsored violence on the protesting farmers .
As we have observed , private monopoly capital in agriculture has led to nothing but devastation . Market-based development of agriculture has failed in the long term and the onus heavily falls upon the peasants . As a consequence , agriculture cannot be sustained without state funding or assistance . RSYC calls for proper state assistance to the farmers in agricultural productions as well as distribution of agricultural produce to the general populace through a subsidised Public Distribution System by the Government . A similar scenario can be observed in the fields of education and factory
the students . W e have seen previously , in spite of the students ’ demands to hold the elections , the JNU administration , which has become nothing but the stooge of the Fascist forces , is maliciously hindering the process . And the ABVP goons too are continuously disrupting the students ’ general body meetings .
RSYC supports the students ’ demand to elect a students ’ union in JNU and demands to hold students ’ union elections in all universities and colleges .
The Fascist forces are trying to silence any kind of dissent emanating from the campuses , from the students community ( as well as from the toiling sections of the country ). They are trying to do away with any kind of ideological opposition too . Be it JNU or DU ,

Privatization has been more detrimental than beneficial for the general working and toiling masses , benefiting only a few capitalists and progressing at the expense of society as a whole . Significant unemployment has left no hope for students and youth . Workers are being exploited more than ever , and the minimum safety net of ‘ Labour laws ’ is being eroded by the proposed labour codes . RSYC also demands an immediate halt to this privatization . The state should bear the primary responsibility of education , as well as of the general production and distribution of goods . These will invariably be beneficial for the capitalist class , who are keen to rapidly privatise the education sector ( along with other sectors too ) and who are proactively coaxed by the BJP-RSS Govt . RSYC stands firmly opposed to the Fascist and Neoliberal corporate attacks upon the students community and calls for building a revolutionary students ’ movement up against the aforesaid and to carry forward the struggle towards a just education system , towards a just society .
