Convention at Vijayawada on the Occasion of the Second Death Anniversary of Comrade Madhu
A Call for a United Struggle against Imperialist Exploitation
Two years have elapsed since the martyrdom of Com . Madhu , CPI ( ML ) Central Executive Committee Member ( CECM ) and editor of “ Class Struggle ” magazine . The convention was held under the auspices of the CPI ( ML ) Andhra Pradesh State Committee .
On the occasion of the second death anniversary of Comrade Madhu on April 16 , at Vijayawada IMA Hall from 11 a . m . to 2 p . m ., CPI ( M-L ) Krishna District Leader Com . U . Veerababu presided over the convention on “ Today ’ s Political Situation : Tasks of Left and Democratic Forces ”. All those who attended the convention stood up and observed silence for 2 minutes paying tribute to Com . Madhu .
Central Committee members of the CPI ( M-L ) Gurram Vijaya Kumar spoke giving red salutes to Com . Madhu . In his political life of almost six and a half decades , Madhu was a proletariat intellectual and a great Marxist-Leninist , and he played a valuable role in the revolution movement in India . In a welcome move , the Ministry of Ayurveda , Yoga and Naturopathy , Unani , Siddha , Sowa Rigpa , and Homoeopathy ( AYUSH ) and the Indian Council of Medical Research ( ICMR ) have at last joined hands to undertake quality human clinical trials to generate evidence on the benefits of using ayurveda along with modern medicine ( evidence-based medicine ) in treating certain disease conditions of national importance . With its decades of experience in conducting human clinical trials , it makes eminent sense to rope in the ICMR to design and conduct 24
America for world supremacy . He said that even though the United States gained the upper hand in the subsequent period , it was not possible to build a world monopoly as it wanted . It is explained how the United States has intervened in various countries worldwide and carried out military attacks for its goal . He said that the United States has been running the war for the last one year to fulfil its hegemonic interests by making Ukraine a scapegoat and placing many burdens on the people of the world . He said that instead of facing the relatively weakened US imperialism , are poor in the country are showing surrender to it and acting as brokers , as a result of which 60 crore people are still living as poor and 35 crore people are poor in the country . He said that after coming to power , Modi is increasing caste and religious differences , and it is need of the hour to wage a united struggle against today ’ s fascist-style regime .
CPI ( M-L ) Andhra Pradesh state leader Com . Jhansi explained Com . Madhu ’ s efforts in the revolution movement and paid tributes to him . She said that the BJP government at
these trials . To begin with , the collaboration will be restricted to ayurveda . The other systems of AYUSH — yoga , unani , siddha and homoeopathy — may be included , and each system will be tested together with modern medicine when the central councils of the respective AYUSH systems are ready to work with the ICMR . An expert committee will soon decide the area / disease conditions to be included for detailed clinical testing using both ayurveda and modern medicine . Initially , clinical trials for each disease may have two arms — modern medicine as the the centre is attacking the non-BJP governments , and all the government systems are saying “ jee huzoor ” to the ruling party . She said that the BJP is increasing religious attacks . The ruling parties are misleading the people with wrong publicity . Desh Bachao does not mean bringing another ruling party to power in the place of BJP . She said that it is not possible to save the country without speaking a single word against the imperialists . Recalling the bright history of the struggle of the Communist Party , she said that the Communist Party has carried out the self respect struggles of Dalits and women . She said that there is a need to rekindle the class struggles and to carry out movements with the slogan ‘ land to tiller ’.

Scientific validation of superior outcomes of combined therapy using ayurveda and modern medicine will form the basis on which integrated medicine will be offered to patients .
