On May 19 , Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a video address at the virtual meeting of foreign ministers and asking them to take solid steps to implement the “ global development initiative ” advocated him , and called the BRICS countries to be leaders of global governance and safeguard the international system ensuring “ international affairs have participation by all , international rules are formed by all and development outcomes are shared by all ”. Jinping calls this as “ global governance policy ” and calls for a “ high quality partnership to jointly create a new era global development ”. With such a philosophy , China wants US imperialism to co-operate . China also is in the game and gives a share to it in world hegemony and dominance .
But US imperialism refuses to compromise with China in dominating and looting the globe . US Secretary of State clearly and categorically outlined the US policy to counter China through its so-called thee-pillar approach to compete with China in a race to define the 21 st century ’ s economic and military balance . He claimed that US administration believes China poses a “ great danger ” and China intends to “ reshape the international order and increasingly the economic , diplomatic , military and technological power , and moves us away from the universal values that have sustained so much over the past 75 years ”. With that he made it clear that US imperialism strongly wants to retain the ‘ world order ’ imposed by it , and that it wants to impose its hegemony and domination on the world at all costs .
Thus the cat came out of the bag , exposing the real intentions of US imperialism for world hegemony . The QUAD summit and launching of IPEF by Joe Biden are proved to be the attempts of US imperialism in pursuance with its strategy of world hegemonism and its economic interests .
With IPE , US initiated a ‘ tug of war ’ with China , to gobble up the world to its super-exploitation , subjecting the world to its imperialist hegemony ! �

Sacrifice of Workers at the Altar of Business Profits !
At Venkateswara stone crusher unit at Adaimithippankulam in Tamil Nadu ’ s Tirunelveli district , 3 workers were crushed to death when a boulder fell in a 300 feet deep stone quarry .
At Ramban in Jammu & Kashmir in an under-construction tunnel , 10 workers were trapped and killed workers are from West Bengal .
Near Mundaka Metro station in the national capital when fire broke in a three storey building 27 persons were killed and many were injured . In this incident there were more women victims than men . Two of the four floors of the building had multiple manufacturing units in operation . At the time of fire breakout around 100- 150 people were present on each floor . Many women and girls jumped from the buildings to save their lives .
The above three incidents occurred in different places of our country on different dates . These incidents have been reported to be ‘ accidents ’. In our ‘ globalised ’ India such accident killing and maiming of workers have become an everyday occurrence and a usual phenomena .
In fact these are not work-place accidents as being reported , but are the man-made incidents with criminal culpability by the employees in their greed induced exploitation of workers to earn super-profits . The employers are blatantly violating the safety and operational norms causing these man made accidents and killing workers with impunity . The regulators are colluding with the employers and acting as accessories and accomplices in the culpability of killing workers in the ‘ accidents ’.
Our rulers with their policies of making ‘ ease of doing business ’ have abandoned , to regulate industries , allowing the industrial managements to run their businesses as they wish , without any inspections including the safety norms , safety practices by providing necessary safety to workers by making necessary provisions and arrangements to protect workers from occupational hazards . Self-certification by the managements implementation of any regulatory rules and regulations is made sufficient for the employers to conduct their business without any governmental interference in running the business . This policy ( industrial ) encouraged the industrial managements and employers to totally neglect the safety of workers . It became profitable to them , to manage the concerned governmental authorities at the time of the occurrence of accidents , than unnecessarily spending on safety arrangements of workers and decreasing their profits .
Another feature in most of all these work-site accidents is that the contract / temporary / migrant workers are being killed or maimed . These unorganized , migrant workers without any legal protection or legal entitlement for social security are engaged in hazardous and hard works , making them scapegoats at the altar of business profits .
Almost in all the cases of these accidents , after the occurrence of the accidents the regulators claim that such accidents occurred in illegal , unlicensed or unpermitted units and wash their hands as if there was no responsibility of the administration , in the occurrence of the accidents . The rulers grandly announce compensation , the opposition party leaders demand for more compensation amount , the police announce , they booked FIRs against the owners and the governments announce of instituting ‘ enquiry ’ in to the cause of accident .
This inhuman and pathetic condition of sacrificing of workers at the altar of profits shall not be allowed . Workers themselves on their own shall organise themselves , to protect their lives from the hazardous working conditions imposed on them by the industry and business . The forces that are interested in the workers , working-class and protection of their interests shall actively take up the task of organising workers , in their attempts to protect their safety and lives ! �
