Some of our comrades under estimate the progress made by non-Party people and in their relations with non-Party people they only give their attention to the points of difference but neglect what we have in common and the fact that the points in common are gradually increasing . Therefore , they lack the eagerness to help each other and learn from each other according to socialist principles . In many cases where the non-Communist Party people should have been treated with equality , some comrades adopted a method of making distinctions . Some comrades fail to understand fully the necessity of cooperating with democratic parties and non-

Party people and that this is a longterm work ; therefore , they often waver in their united front work , especially at the height of revolutionary struggles of the masses . These comrades do not as yet understand the truth that only by liberating all mankind can the proletariat completely liberate itself . Nor do they understand what Chairman Mao Tse-tung has instructed : “ This principle of the Communist Party for cooperation in a democratic spirit with non- Party people has been firmly laid down and will never change . So long as parties exist in society , people who join Party organisations are always fewer than those who do not , hence our
Party members must always cooperate with non-Party people .” There are also some comrades who make no serious distinction between the enemy and ourselves and on the vital differences of principle . They do not make a sincere and honest attempt to distinguish between right and wrong , but instead , have , adopted a vulgar liberalistic attitude .

The new Essential Defence Services Ordinance 2021 is one of the most draconian pieces of legislation seen in recent times . It enables the Central Government to prohibit strikes in what are defined as “ essential defence services ”. However the definition of “ essential defense services ” is wide enough to cover almost any establishment or undertaking since it includes any such establishment or undertaking ” dealing with production of goods or equipments required for any purpose connected with defence ”. It also includes any other service as the Central Government may declare to be an essential defence service .
We condemn this ordinance and ask for its immediate withdrawal . We stand with the defence workers and all others who may be affected by this ordinance . We call upon the whole of the working class to come on to the streets to fight against this ordinance .
The right to strike is a valuable right won by the working class after years of struggle . At its most basic level , it is the right to refuse labour . This is a fundamental human right as forced labour is slavery . This struggle to restore the right to strike as a valid legal right of the working class is a crucial struggle that the working class of this country will have to take up in the coming days .
Comrades , It must be our task to fight this extremely authoritarian measure with all our strength !
