TRIBUTE
Today is full of memories of my elder brothers
and sisters in this institute who have left
the shelter and have marched bravely to
face the battle of life. The face of every
single one of you fills me with warmth and
happiness. For you were someone special,
always a joy to know and there was so much
pain when it was time to let you go. The fact
that you have left on a life changing journey
is bittersweet but your presence will always
be in our hearts .You were a constant rock
in our lives. You nurtured us and taught us
to appreciate the finer things in life. You
defended us from all our foes, near and far.
We were very fortunate and couldn’t ask for
someone better. We thank god for bringing
you in our life and for all the lives you have
touched, you will forever be an inspiration.
To quote one Joyce Grenfell:
“If
I should die before the rest of you
Break not a flower nor inscribe a stone
Nor, when I’m gone, speak in a Sunday
voice,
But be the usual selves that I have
known.
Weep if you must
Parting is hell.
But life goes on.
So sing as well.”
