About our College
Jansons Institute of Technology (JIT) is a world class Engineering
College with a vision to be in the forefront of Technical Education and
Research worldwide. JIT is the second venture of the Jansons Foundation
in the field of Higher Education. JIT offers Bachelor’s Degree programmes
in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication
Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
and Civil Engineering and Masters Degree in VLSI Design, Power Electronics
and Drives and Computer Science and Engineering in its most modern stateof-the-art campus located 25kms from Coimbatore on the CoimbatoreChennai National Highway in Tamilnadu, India. JIT has been promoted by the
Jansons Business Group, a textile major with significant presence in Granites
and Health Care.
JIT is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
and the Government of Tamil Nadu, and is affiliated to Anna University,
Coimbatore. JIT, guided by its motto, ‘the most preferred destination for
Technical Education’, takes every effort to create infinite opportunities to
students for their professional development. JIT employs the finest brains in

Providing medical relief by establishing hospitals, Medical

Providing relief to the poor and needy for their upliftment by
creating income generating opportunities

The affairs of the Jansons Foundation are managed by a
Board of Trustees under the chairmanship of Rtn. MPHF. Shri T.S.
Natarajan. The Board has Ms. N. Padmavathi, Mr. T.N. Kalaimani,
Ms. K. Navamani, Mr. T.N. Thirukumar, Ms. T. Jeyanthi as members.
The Chairman is ably assisted by Mr. T.N. Kalaimaniand Mr. T.N.
Thirukumar in their capacity as Vice-Chairmen. The office of the
