“ Come on Clyde you ' re too slow!” My little brother shouted at me even if I was beside him it wouldn ' t make a difference. It’ s halloween night and my 14 year old brother decided to beg mom to go to a party. I sighed as we climbed the hill, I listened to the distant music and the crunch of the frosty grass as the wind whispered around us. I stood up and looked around after what seemed to be an eternity of climbing.“ Cody, the view here is amazing …” It took my breath away. Just then a group of people broke through the tree line dividing the forest and the hill.
I noticed one member of the group was a little smaller and slower. Her jacket had a star on it, alll of a sudden the girl looked up at us and waved. I could barely hear her yell,“ Hey Cody wait up!” I looked at Cody whom, was a couple steps ahead as he smiled and yelled back,” Okay, meet you at the top!” After a while she caught up with us. She was breathing as if she ran a marathon,” Okay …… are you …… ready?” she huffed. I looked over at her. She had blue, side parted, fluffy looking hair, covering her left side of her face, glasses, big glacier blue eyes and pale as a ghost.
