American Star, American Independence, and American Spirit cruise many of the same itineraries as the Coastal Cats and Constellation Class ships and offer a similar atmosphere on board. They have slightly smaller staterooms, though still nearly twice the size of other small cruise ships, and feature a selection of spacious public spaces and amenities.

The brand new American Encore, American Serenade, American Symphony, American Melody, American Jazz, American Harmony, and American Song have elevated the standard for riverboat cruising globally. Sophisticated and cosmopolitan, these modern riverboats feature the largest staterooms of any riverboat in the world and are the only ones to have a grand multi-story atrium in the center of the ship, a variety of sizable lounges, and private balconies in each spacious stateroom.

American Splendor, American Heritage, American Pride, and American West offer a classic paddlewheeler experience with modern design features and amenities. Guests can enjoy large staterooms with private balconies, hotel-style bathrooms, and a variety of unique lounges. Located on both the Columbia and Mississippi Rivers, they offer many of the same itineraries as our modern riverboats, but with a nostalgic steamboat flair.
