Table. Aslan, alive, stands beside them, and they hurry off to the white witch’s castle to breathe to life those she has turned into stone.

The battle is fought. Aslan brings the girls and the newly awakened Narnians to the battlefield just in time to turn the tide, and he himself kills the white witch.

The Pevensies are crowned kings and queens of Narnia.

Narnia is free. God didn’t leave us where we were, in our sin and brokenness. Instead, He paid the cost of our traitorship to Him with His own life! By resurrecting on the third day and rolling away the stone in front of the tomb, He set us free and sealed Satan’s fate.

We can now live.

The Last Battle: I have prepared a place for you...

It’s been a long time in Narnia, a long time without word from Aslan. Shift, a monkey, and his slow friend Puzzle, a donkey, find an old lion skin floating down the river. Shift ties it on Puzzle and has him impersonate Aslan. He receives a great following among the Narnians.

Eustace and Jill find themselves back in Narnia with King Tirian and the faithful unicorn, Jewel. Tirian knows that Shift doesn’t have the real Aslan in the stable on top of the hill, so he sets out to put an end to it.

The Calormens come in, and Shift tells the Narnians to start cutting down the talking trees around Lantern Waste, to sell them and put money in Aslan’s treasury. The Calormens decide that Aslan and Tash are the same god.

After a long, last battle, Tirian throws Shift into the stable, where Tash, who now haunts the place, swallows him up. Tirian, Jewel, Eustace and Jill find Peter, Edmund, Lucy, Digory and Polly inside the stable as well. Peter orders Tash to leave, and the group goes to Aslan’s country. There they meet up with all their old friends, except for Susan who no longer believes, and everyone is joyous in this land of never ending happiness.

They are finally Home.

One day, false prophets like Shift will trick the world into believing someone or another is God. One day many, many people will be killed by the ideals of these false prophets. One day the final battle will be fought. God will be victorious, and the false prophets and Satan will finally meet their eternal destinies.

Until God reigns and we are in Heaven with Him, we will have to fight tooth and nail for our faith. Every day it grows harder to be a Christian. Every day is one step closer to eternity.

But, we have a hope, a hope that surpasses all earthly things.

We will one day be in a Land of perfection with our Father and King. We will be reunited with those who have gone before us in Christ. It will be Heaven.

That’s worth fighting for, don’t you think?

The Chronicles of You!

The Chronicles of Narnia are, sadly, just a fairytale. But, the story behind it is real and eternal, and we’re all in it! How cool is that? We really have a Father and King, just like Aslan, watching over us and guiding us. And we have Satan, like Jadis and all the others, trying to drag us down. We have a war going on between us and the world. We will get hurt and tempted and discouraged, but as Christian sisters we must be there to pick each other up and keep going.

Not only are we corporately in an epic story, but you too are writing your own story about your life, your hopes and dreams, your beliefs. It’s a love story to God, a reply to the one He wrote for you. Make your story a good one! It won’t have magical creatures or swordfights in it, but it will still have friends and battles. Find those friends and put on your armor. It’s time to fight girl! Your Holy Father is here to guide you.

For Christ and His kingdom!
