I always tell young women: If you can't be faithful in the little things, how can God entrust you with the work of His Kingdom? God can't trust you to be faithful to His people (or the earthly prince he has for you!) when you're untrustworthy with even your own friends and family.

Let us purpose in our hearts to be faithful, first unto the Lord and then to the precious relationships He gives us. :)

3. A Giving Heart:

"She stretches out her hand to the poor; yea, she reaches forth her hands to the needy." Proverbs 31:20

"The righteous shows mercy and gives." Psalms 37:21

"Give and it shall be given unto you." Luke 6:38

There's a well known quote that says, "You cannot outgive God," and oh how true that is! Giving does not just mean money. The greatest giving comes through laying down our lives for the Lord and for others.

Sisters: you'll never lose by giving. You will never lose by going the second mile! Even the Princesses that we all knew growing up, were known for having kind and giving hearts. How much more should we as daughters of the King, be generous and giving, as He has been with us?

I encourage you today to bless someone, to give a gift, a kind note, flowers, a meal, ect. It will bring you much joy, and I assure you that God will bless you in return and meet ALL your needs. :) Amen!

4. Modesty:

"Strength and Honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come." Proverbs 31:25

"In like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in MODEST apparel, with shamefacedness (shyness) and sobriety. Not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; but with that which becometh women professing GODLINESS." 1 Timothy 2:9-10

Modesty is a very touchy subject these days for young Christian women. I understand that we all have our different convictions, but what I would like to ask young women is this: Whose eye are you really trying to catch? Because the way a woman dresses reveals her true heart and character!

When people look upon you, they should see a reflection of the Lord's grace and beauty. It should draw them to the things of God, not away from.

A lot of men will only be attracted to what they see, to fleshly things. They will lust after flesh, without longing to protect and preserve your purity. The RIGHT MAN who has a heart after God, will encourage you to be modest and will protect the beauty of what God has given you. He will encourage you to be a woman of holiness and purity before the Lord. Let the fear of God and a Godly character determine what you put on. :)

5. Wisdom:

"She opens her mouth with wisdom and in her tongue is the law of kindness." Proverbs 31:26

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. A good understanding have all they that do His commandments; His praise endures forever." Psalms 111:10

"Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks." Matthew 12:34

The things that come out of our mouth reveal what's really in our heart. As women of God, we need to constantly ask the Lord to put a guard over our mouth. It's so important to be speaking LIFE into people, our husbands and our children. NOT tearing them down. Remember that life and death lies in your tongue!

Yes, we're human, we make mistakes. Sometimes our temper can get the better of us, but it's something that we really need to work on. How can you expect to be in ministry or married, if you lash out at people when your soul gets offended?

Like the Proverbs 31 woman, when she opened her mouth, WISDOM & KINDNESS came out.

Let us strive to be like that, sisters! Choose life today and choose to have the mannerisms of a Princess. People out there need your encouragement. :)

Let us purpose in our hearts to have a virtuous spirit like the Proverbs 31 woman, a faithful spirit and a giving heart like Ruth, a modest spirit as women professing Godliness and a heart full of wisdom like Queen Esther. God bless you all, ladies!
