Crown of Beauty: If you could invite three guests over for lunch, (these guests could be living or not, fictional, etc.), who would your three guests be?
Joel: I would choose Batman, because he’s not a real superhero with cool super powers; he’s just an ordinary guy who has a desire to serve his city. I would also choose the Apostle Paul. And Lastly, I would choose Bono because, as a musician, he brings a whole new level of heart and art to his music; which inspires me.

Crown of Beauty: Who is your favorite Disney princess?
Joel: My favorite Disney princess would have to be Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She loved her father, even though everyone else thought that he was insane and deserved to be in an institution. She also looked beyond the Beast’s ugly outward appearance and saw the beauty in his heart. She loved him, despite his appearance.
Moriah: My favorite Disney Princess is Pocahontas.
Crown of Beaty: Why don’t you start by telling us about how you met your spouse, giving us a little look inside the backstory of your love story?
Joel: I first met Moriah at my brother Luke’s wedding. He had invited a mutual friend. The card said "you and one guest." So, my friend decided that he would bring Moriah for the specific purpose of introducing the two of us to each other. I had not planned on meeting anyone special at the wedding.
