About the Author

Caring for your body is just as important as taking care of your spirit. Our temples are where the holy spirit can lay and do his work within us. Remember, what takes place on the inside of us, will begin to show on the outside. Inheriting a healthier lifestyle by eating better foods, exercising regularly, getting a good amount of rest and being modest with your clothing says a lot about who you are as a person. Let’s be honest, there is no such thing as “the perfect body”. You are perfect just the way God made you so don’t fall under the pressures of society. Be healthy without being vain. Always remember that you are an ambassador for the Kingdom of God and as believers we want people to see the God we serve.

5. Surround yourself with other believers

“If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.” –Ecclesiastes 4:10 NIV

So what about friends? Honey, Jesus had twelve disciples, Adam had Eve as a spouse, Mary had Martha as a sister, in other words god-ordained friendships and relationships are mentioned all throughout the bible. Do remember to surround yourself with people who will hold you accountable to God’s word. Not people who will be-little you and misuse your love. True friends encourage one another to pursue Gods will. Do not be accompanied by backstabbers and gossipers. But by people who hold good intentions. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” –Galatians 5:22-23
