Dreamer

Set me on the course I should go,

Don't let me turn away.

Won't let others tell me, "No, it can't be done."

There is no impossibility, that God can't make manifest my reality.

They call me a dreamer.

"Quit living in the clouds",

But i know the One,

The Uncreated,

Who spoke,

And when that sound reverberated, out of the nothingness of space,

Even the void had to obey, and those clouds began to form and exisit.

It couldn't resist the spoken Word.

Just like the clouds, my dreams can't resist,

The Words of my Creator,

Who calls them to live,

And calls impossibilty a myth.

Yet others say, "no."

They don't want me to grow.

Too afraid to reap the very things they have sown.

Why is it such a mystery,

For us to walk in victory,

And dodge the darts of the enemy,

Intended to kill our dreams with his trickery?

Yet God calls the dry bones of our dreams to life.

Once again, He tells them to come alive,

through all the dark.

Set me on the course I should go,

Don't let me turn away.

Won't let others tell me, "No, it can't be done."

There is no impossibility,

That God can't make reality.

He unblinds our eyes so that we can see,

The glorious path to victory,

To live out the dreams that He's placed in me.

Yes, I'm a dreamer.

I'm a dreamer indeed, that the King's set free.

Free to live, and breathe, and be.

In love with my Maker throughout eternity.

So for me it's not about living in the clouds,

but shouting my dreams out loud.

I'm a dreamer, a believer, a mystery seeker, a promise keeper.
